The south of Tunisia

Published May 6, 2012

Travelling to the smallest country in North Africa, the West and East crossroads shortly after the revolution.

Tunisia,  أتمنى لك رحلة جميلة

2012, only a year and a half after the "Jasmine Revolution".  There are a lot of abandoned luxury hotels and empty streets. I cannot forget the experience of the speed and the excitement of the high performance when we went kart racing in the desert during the evening while it was raining and the drops were hitting my face. I could feel my adrenaline kick in and me screaming with excitement.

One night, me and my friends stayed in the lobby of the hotel and with the locals we were dancing folk Greek and Tunisian music accompanied by doumbek drums.
